Introducing The Society: A New Community for Women & Moms in Middle Tennessee
Making friends as an adult is tough. Between work, family responsibilities, and the daily grind, it’s easy to feel isolated. And for many women moving to Middle Tennessee, finding a supportive community can be even harder. That’s why The Society was created—a group for women and moms in all stages of life, whether you’re trying to conceive, navigating toddler tantrums, parenting teens, or embracing the empty-nester phase.
The Mission of The Society: The Society is a no-pressure, no-guilt group—you show up when you can, no obligations or expectations. Our goal is to connect women in meaningful ways, offering a variety of events each month to foster friendship, support, and community involvement. Each month, we’ll host four to five unique meetups, giving you plenty of opportunities to find your people and build relationships. Monthly Meetups:
β Meetup 1: The Coffee Club (Kid-Friendly!)
A weekday morning gathering where moms can actually enjoy a hot cup of coffee while their kids play. Our first meeting spot? Long Hollow Church, which offers a fantastic coffee shop, playground, and a central location for moms in White House, Hendersonville, and Gallatin. Light snacks will be provided!
π₯ Meetup 2: Ladies Who Lunch (Kid-Friendly!)
A casual lunch group for women looking to connect over good food. During colder months, we’ll meet at laid-back indoor spots, but when the weather warms up, we’ll take advantage of patios and parks for an al fresco experience.
π· Meetup 3: Meet & Mingle
A kid-free evening event designed for moms and women to socialize and expand their circles. This could take the form of speed networking (quick convos with lots of people) or a more relaxed group setting. Time and format will depend on what works best for attendees—your input is welcome!
π Meetup 4: Give & Gather
For those with a heart for giving back, this event blends networking with community service. Half the time will be spent socializing, and the other half will focus on learning about local non-profits and volunteer opportunities. We’d love to feature guest speakers from area organizations and get hands-on with ways to give back.
π Meetup 5: Saturday Social Club
Saturday Social A bi-monthly Saturday meetup designed for working moms who can’t attend weekday events. This gathering will rotate between brunch spots, fun activities, and casual hangouts to provide flexibility and variety.
Your Input Matters!
To make The Society the best it can be, we need your feedback on a few key details:
1οΈβ£ How far are you willing to travel? We’d love to cover White House, Hendersonville, and Gallatin, but we want to ensure locations are convenient for our members. Let us know what works best for you!
2οΈβ£ Would you prefer set locations or variety? A home base would offer consistency, but mixing it up would support different local businesses. What’s your vibe?
3οΈβ£ Let’s talk cost. To keep meetups sustainable, there will be a small fee—$5-$10 per event or a monthly membership. If we bring in catering, the cost might be more. This isn’t about profit; it’s about commitment. At the end of the year will be donating to a local charity. If finances are tight, scholarships will be available—just reach out!
