Established in 1969, this 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was the first daycare in the area to welcome minority children, setting a precedent for inclusivity and compassion. Today, the center continues its mission of providing a safe, nurturing, and affordable childcare environment for minority children, low-income families, foster children, and families experiencing homelessness.
At the heart of Gallatin Day Care Center is Executive Director Linda Boyers, who has dedicated 35 years to ensuring that children and families receive the care and support they deserve. Her passion for the community goes far beyond the daily operations of the center—she is a true advocate for the underserved, always seeking ways to uplift the families who rely on the center’s services.
More Than Just Childcare

Gallatin Day Care Center operates on an income-based model and accepts DHS funding for qualifying families, ensuring that financial hardship is never a barrier to quality childcare.
