Meet Loren Edwards: The Disney Travel Agent Making Magic Happen
If there’s one thing Loren Edwards knows, it’s how to sprinkle a little pixie dust into life. As a Disney travel agent, Loren helps families create unforgettable memories at the happiest places on Earth. And her story is just as enchanting as the vacations she plans.
Loren and her husband, Jonathan, have been married for six years and are the proud parents of an energetic 3-year-old boy named Jackson. After years of being the go-to party and vacation planner for her family and friends, Loren decided to turn her natural talent for organization and creativity into a career. Becoming a travel agent felt like the perfect fit—and let’s be honest, who better to plan your Disney trip than someone who visits the parks three times a year?
Loren’s love for Disney began in childhood. Growing up, her parents made it a tradition to take her and her brother to Disney every few years for family vacations. As an adult, her passion grew even deeper when one of her best friends moved near Disneyland in California, giving Loren more reasons to visit frequently. These days, her trips include two annual visits to Disneyland and one to Disney World. It’s safe to say she knows all the insider tips and tricks for maximizing the magic.
As much as Loren loves planning vacations, she’s also learned some important lessons about starting a business. “It’s so important to set boundaries early on,” she advises. “If you’re a mom thinking about starting a side hustle, start small and make sure your family and work-life balance stays in check. It’s hard to backtrack later if you don’t.”
Most of Loren’s clients find her through word-of-mouth recommendations from friends and family. But in 2025, she’s ready to grow her business and connect with even more clients. Loren’s favorite part of her job is getting to know the people she works with. “Everyone has a different definition of what makes a great vacation, and I love helping families create a trip that’s perfect for them,” she shares.
Loren’s journey has taken her across states as well as theme parks. She and Jonathan first lived in Hendersonville, Tennessee, from 2016 to 2022 before relocating to Kansas for Jonathan’s job. In June of 2024, they moved back to Hendersonville and couldn’t be happier to be closer to Loren’s family in Knoxville.
A fun fact about Loren? She’s been dancing since she was just three years old, continuing until she was 16. That love of movement and joy translates perfectly into her current role—because if you’ve ever seen someone bounce around Disney with a toddler, you know it’s practically choreography.
